Terms of Service

Last updated 28 August 2026

These terms cover your use of Courtside Cuts, a private sports highlight studio operated by Axiom Ops. By creating an account or accepting an invitation to a project, you agree to them.

What the service is

Courtside Cuts lets you upload match footage, mark clips, build highlight reels, and export them as video files. It is invitation-only and private: there is no public feed and nothing you upload is published anywhere by default.

The product is under active development. Features will change, and some are not built yet.

Accounts

You must be 18 or older to hold an account. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it.

Your content stays yours

You keep all ownership of the video, photographs, audio and information you upload. We claim no rights over it.

You grant us only the narrow permission needed to actually run the service — to store your files, process them so they play in a browser, and assemble them into the reels you ask for. That permission exists solely to operate Courtside Cuts on your behalf, and it ends when you delete the content.

We do not use your content for advertising, do not share it with anyone you have not invited, and do not use it to train AI models.

What you are responsible for uploading

By uploading something, you confirm that you have the right to:

  • The footage and photographs. Including permission from parents or guardians for any young person who appears, and from other identifiable people where that is required.
  • The music. This one catches people out, so it is worth being direct: most commercially released music is not licensed for you to attach to a video, even a private family one, and definitely not for one posted publicly or sent to a recruiter. Upload music you own, music you have licensed, or music that is genuinely free to use. Courtside Cuts gives you the tools; it does not give you the rights.

You are responsible for that material and for any consequences of sharing it.

Acceptable use

Do not use Courtside Cuts to:

  • Upload material you have no right to, or that infringes someone else’s copyright.
  • Upload anything unlawful, or any sexual, exploitative or abusive material involving a minor. We will report this.
  • Harass, bully or endanger anyone, or share footage of a young person without the right to do so.
  • Attempt to reach projects, accounts or data that are not yours, or to probe, disrupt or overload the service.
  • Resell or redistribute the service itself.

Projects and roles

Each project has an owner who controls membership. Owners may invite and remove people and delete the project along with its content. Collaborators may add and edit material. Viewers may see only reels explicitly shared with them.

If you are invited to a project, the owner can remove your access to it at any time.

Availability

We aim to keep the service running and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Rendering, uploads and playback depend on services we do not control.

Keep your own copies of anything irreplaceable. Courtside Cuts is a workspace for making highlight reels, not a backup service or a system of record for footage you cannot afford to lose.

Ending your use

You may stop using Courtside Cuts and request deletion of your account and content at any time by emailing support@axiomops.io.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, particularly where a person’s safety or someone’s legal rights are at stake. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why first.

Liability

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, Axiom Ops is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost footage, lost reels or lost opportunities arising from use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product develops. The date at the top reflects the current version, and we will contact account holders directly about any change that materially affects them.
